Condor Vintage Track

We hereby offer a beautiful Condor Pista track bike frameset. The frame is in very good condition and has a beautiful past. The frame is special because it was made and used in the South Africa national team. The previous owner of the frame used this frame in his teens to ride at the highest level in Cape Town and told us that he put a lot of miles on this frame, all inside the velodrome.

Condor states on their website that this frame was one of the best available at the time.

Condor frames made before 1998 were all built from steel tubing manufactured by Reynolds or Columbus. From 1973 onwards, Condor used different different tubesets as technology advanced. Reynolds 531 steel butted tubing is used on all models from 1948 to 1973.

Serial Number: C8225

As shown in the photos, this frame is made entirely from Reynolds 531 steel. It is difficult to say exactly how old the frame is as they only have dates available on the website after 2009. My estimate is that it is one of the last models made in this steel variant and was therefore made around 1970.

Considering its age, the frame is still in very good condition. Certainly a special one. The frame is equipped with a Campagnolo headset and dropouts.
